I made this Christmas powerpoint to use for the last 8 days of term. It will be the early morning work but all with a seasonal twist. Here is a great Christmas Activity. 15 different ways of saying 'Merry Christmas' from all around the world. The students must read and learn the different phrases, find them in a wordsearch and then use internet to do an online quiz and find out whhich country each phrase is used in Merry christmas

I made these tasks for my class to focus on now the SATS are over. They are loving them so far. They love working in groups and presenting to the class. It also creates a healthy bit of competition. Both group tasks involve working collaboratively, budgeting, research , recording information and preparing a presentation.
